Festival 2024: 23 June

When: Sunday 23 June 2024, 12pm – 6pm

Where: Cherry Tree Wood, East Finchley, London N2 9QH. Find Us

East Finchley Festival features two music stages, a large selection of street food stalls, licensed bars, over 100 local makers and community organisations, activities and sports for all – including tennis, pickleball and basketball, children’s games, activities and storytelling tent, laser tag and much much more!

This year we’re bringing back the parade. The theme is the 1970s and we’d love you to join us parading down the High Road in your best ’70’s fancy dress. Sign up here.

Applications for performers, food vendors and craft stalls open in February. If you’d like to be notified, please sign up to our mailing list.

We’re 50!

We’re’re one of the longest running and largest completely independent free community festivals in the country. This year will be our 50th festival and we’d like to make it special, but we need your help. The festival is run entirely by volunteers and we need a huge team of people, not just on the day but during the preparation stages too. You don’t need any previous event experience, just a can-do attitude! It’s not at all glamourous but it’s great fun and very rewarding. If you’d like to get involved, please fill in the volunteer form.

Photo appeal

Have you been attending the festival for years? Do you have any favourite memories or photos? We’d like to build up a record of the festival’s fifty years, so if you have old photos – particularly from the 1970s or 80s, we’d love to see them. You can email them to us or post them on our Facebook page.
There’ll be a special prize for anyone who has a decent shot of Amy Winehouse when she performed!
